I think this woman has my dream job. She has a store in Boston's Roslindale Village called Joanne Rossman: Purveyor of the unnecessary & the irresistible. What a perfect name. I love the photo of her below, she looks so open and friendly and full of fun and her store looks fabulous.
Her store is a measure of her creative expression and her undaunted search for whatever she finds beautiful, meaningful, funny, useful, quirky, comforting – in short, irresistible. Her travels may take her to Morocco or the Berkshires, to Tucson or Venice or a lost resource the next town over – no matter, she returns with a story and a treasure or two.
