Hmmmm, now you've got me thinking Sally! I love the idea of making one for myself! Maybe I can try a cushion first, just to see how difficult the Dresden plate block is. Love your hexagon flower blocks by the way!

I agree, this was going to be my comment - why don't you make one. I made my first quilt last year and am about to start my second this weekend. Basic, nothing like your luna quilt. I hate to say...but its quite addictive - the design element, putting the colours together etc.

I've got the fabrics picked out for a cushion Jo! My completion rate for bigger projects is not great so I'll go with a cushion first. Would love to see pics of your quilt!!!!
